I am using Data management recurring jobs in D365FO to import data from an external system in a semicolon separated format with enqueue endpoints.
The import fails with error 'Pre-processing failed'.
No execution log is available.
The same data is imported successfully with manual import on the processing group.
Any clue on how to resolve this issue?
Can you tell in more detail how you are doing the integration? Is it exactly the same file which can be processed manually? As recurring job, what have you configured to get the source file from?
For the recurring job, the configuration is to get the source data through REST API.
Manual processing with same data works fine.
Is manual processing also using the rest-api, or did you provide the XML file directly? It would be in your advantage if you provide as much as possible information. Until now, I have no idea what exactly you have configured.
This issue is resolved. There was an additional space in the entity name configured in the processing group but missing in the entity name provided in the enqueue endoint URL.
