Good afternoon everyone,
I want to ask you about data which I can get from connection between d365 for finance and operations (cloud) and Power BI. I know there are two different ways to obtain certain amount of data, but I'm not sure did I miss something or it does not contain few things.
For an example, with direct query connection I have troubles with finding invoice number for purchase or sales orders. I know it's olap cube architecture and I tried to look in whole cube for those but still without results. It's not the only I cannot find but this is an example.
With odata I do not have this issue, but there still missing informations like packing slip number, or connection between packing slip and invoice which for my purposes is crucial.
It's quite easy to find those informations in tables using Table Browser Caller plugin, but it doesn't change anything because I cannot see them when I'm using both of connection types.
Thank you in advance for all ideas.
Aggregated measurements have only specific set of fields exposed, same with data entities. They are not 1 to 1 to underlying tables. If you do not see fields required you have to extend them to add it.
