I have added a new field in a table extension.
Then I added the field from table datasource to the fields of DataEntity extension.
After rebuild, and sync, the data entity is missing in the Data Entity Dropdown of the Import in Data management, how to show the entity again? it is showing before i edited the data entity extension.
Any help is appreciated, thanks.
Do not forget that you need to extend staging table as well to bring new fields. To bring entity back go to Data management parameters and click "refresh entities list" docs.microsoft.com/.../data-entities
yes i have also extend the staging table and added the field.
I have also done Refresh entity list but still not showing.
I am using 'sales order lines' data entity, if i type it in the Entity Name dropdown, it will proceed without errors and can import but it is not showing in the dropdown.
I have also noticed that there is a new 'sales order lines v2' data entity which is not there before i edited the extension.
sales order lines is obsolete, so you obviously cannot use it, you have to use and extend V2 or V3, latest version available.
Hi ievgen, thank you for the guide, i will use the V2 now.
Also is there a way to know if the entity or object is obsolete? or just see if theres a v2 to know if it is obsolete? Thank you for the answer.
About how to know if the entity or object is obsolete.
Find the object you need to use in AOT, and look at the properties to see if it's obsolete.
Such as SalesOrderLineEntity and SalesOrderLineV2Entity.
