Recently our upgrade took place into 10.0 from 8.1 and we are facing the below issue,
GL - there are differences between users. Some of them have possibility to open voucher in excel and some not.please look on the att.
Correct one; you can see 'Open Lines in Excel' just right side of 'Lines' option.
Disappeared; See below, the option 'Open Lines in Excel' for different users.
what is the solution?
Do all of your users have the same role assigned or do the ones that are not able to see the export option have different (limited) user rights?
Hi Luding, different roles they are assigned, however before the upgrade this was not the issue, hence at the first instance having different roles are not an issue I guess.
Having the same issue, the button is not visible even for sysadm in newly deployed prod environment. Did you find a solution?

Can you try by adding this privilege "SystemExportToExcelLimited" to the role of that user who is not able to see this option in general journal and see if this is working or not.
Else; ask any developer to run the synchronization and then check after that.

Thanks for reaching out. I am system administrator and after applying a role and validating the access using Security diagnostic for task recordings; the permissions are no longer lacking - but the button are still not visible. Since this is a prod environment, no sync is available.
