I would like to automatically send an email with the purchase order confirmation back to the orderer (thus the one that made the PO) and yet it does not seem possible as only options are manual or to the vendor directly. I thought of a generic email but that does not fit with the customer's plan.
What is the business scenario that the orderer should receive his own created order? There is no setup to do this automatically.
Hi André, the business scenario would be: instead of opening the PO confirmation in PDF and download it (then lose it into your files) you'd receive it straight to your mails (and thus gain some time)
there are options of sending email of PO directly to a vendor contact
could also send to orderer
There are possibilities available OOB as well I have seen Docentric adds more features in terms of formatting and sending additional copies
