We have business events working well and posting to an Azure service bus endpoint - the content can be retrieved and verified successfully - all good news.
Just wondering whether it is possible to use some of the standard built-in message properties when sending a message from F&O, such as CorrelationID, ContentType, ReplyTo etc?
Is your question related to the contents of the message? It would be possible to extend it, but the idea of business events is that the message details are set to a minimum. Then using other actions you can find more details using Odata entities.
Thanks for your reply. The scenario here is an integration between a CRM and Dynamics F&O, where data is passed via an Azure service bus. Each logically related event is tied together using a 'CorrelationID' which is stored in F&O so is available for any return integration messages.
We *can* simply include this 'CorrelationID' in the message content rather than as a property of the message itself, but it would be nice to see everything talking together in a consistent way; Viewing a message sent from F&O currently for example in Service Bus Explorer, shows the 'CorrelationID' to be blank along with many of the other standard properties.
The 'ContentType' property is another good example which, for our application, I'd like to see set to e.g. 'application/json' rather than being blank.
Unless I'm mistaken and these properties can be set explicitly for these service bus messages coming from F&O?
Thanks. Now I do understand your question. I have not looked into these details. You can try to see if it is possible to extend the endpoint behavior with a development effort.
