A valid main account 611200 does not appear on the Financial report editor as a valid value. The account appears on the Trial Balance, however is not picked up by MR.
We have reset data mart, rebuild dimension sets, account structures, and balances without any change. We compared the setup to the next account 611201, and no differences exist.
GL Main account list has account (with vouchers in the period)

Can you check the following;
--- In MR, go to Tools > click on Refresh cached financial data.
--- Also check in main account form if by mistake the main account type for account 611200 is changed to Reporting or Total.

Some things to check are
- whether the account is suspended
- whether there are some legal entity overwrites that might be responsible for this
- what happens if you enter the account 611200 directly in your row definition and do not select it from the selection form dropdown
- try to use the edit functionality and then enter all main accounts in a new row definition to see if the account is identified.
In addition: Do you know if somebody has renamed the account number of the account description? This has in the past resulted in issues.
Finally, please check LCS for available hotfixes.
Sourav - We have refreshed cached fin data and validated the account is = Expense. I even tried to change to "P&L" . Still does not appear.

Account was not suspended. I did change to "suspended", saved it, and exited....then changed account back to "not suspended" and saved it again. Same results.
No overrides exist for the account.
I can add the account manually in row definition, however, the value is still $0....should be $5400.
I added a separate row for just this account, to quickly determine if anything I did made a difference...no change.
Not sure I understand what is meant by "renamed the account number of the account description", or how to check it. Can you provide additional information?
I will add that this is a new account that was added specifically for a new site, however, it is the only new account for the site that is not reporting.
Totally at a loss.
Can you please make sure that there is no active form and active to dates are not selected in account 611200 in the Main accounts form.

Renaming means that after an account has been created and used somebody goes into the CoA and changes the number or name.
Those changes often resulted in issues.
Can you possibly having a developer having a look at the financial reporter data mart and whether he can identify the account from there?
Another thing to check is in GL the 'financial dimensions to use for financial reporting'. Is MainAccount still selected?
None existed, so we tried adding one....no change in the results.
This one has some many people "stumped".

In MR, a master value (Main Account or Financial Dimensions) is not populated under the drop downs / selection ticker if there are no transactions posted/associated with them.
While configuring the Row/ Column definitions, MR allows you to enter the master values that are not populated in the dropdown list. You can proceed with your configuration of the list and when the transactions are posted, MR will auto display the transactions.
In your case, MR may not have shown the Main account under the selection dropdowns previously because there may not have been transactions posted against the main account.
Try posting some transactions against the main account and then you should be able to see the Main account in the drop down/ selection ticker.

There are several transactions posted to the account totaling over $5400.
Looks like we opened a ticket with Microsoft for assistance.
What's the name of account 611200? I remember I had a similar issue couple of years ago when an account with some special characters in its name, and MR could not show that account properly. After changing the name, everything is good.
Thanks for your update. If there are transactions and it is still not updating the main account, it is a bit surprising.
Can you try to manually update the Main account in a row definition within the MR tool and see if the balances are being populated when you run the report?

Could you confirm two things for me?
1. Are the transactions on that account in a different currency?
2. What happens when you change the currency of the report in management reporter?
3. What transactions are your missing, are these current year transactions or prior year transactions?
4. Have you tried to remove the brackets "()" from the account name?
