I want to access a Data entity through OData. Unfortunately it is marked as private. I.E "IsPublic = No". For this, I saw a workaround which ask to create a copy of the entity in the model and set 'IsPublic' to Yes to expose the entity for OData. But In my Visual Studio the "Duplicate in Project" is disabled (see pic). I want to know how to enable the "Duplicate in Project" menu. Also I want to know whether "Add to new project" will work in my case.
"Duplicate on project" is available if you have a project open (and selected) in Visual Studio.
"Add to new project" will not work, since that would just add the existing entity in a new VS project. But since you can't modify that entity, it would be useless to add it in a project.
I created a new project of class library type and try to copy the entity. still "Duplicate on project" is in disabled state only.
The project type should be "Dynamics 365 Unified Operations", not C# Class library.
Thanks its enabled now.
