I have put in quite some effort to understand the working of an MS class named KeySum.
I am still very much in the dark. Developer Documentation is non-existent. I haven't even been able to determine the purpose of this thing - to me it seems like someone had too much time on their hands and made a lovely, simple, standard concept terribly complex.
Does someone know it? What is its purpose? And how does it work?
I will get there by myself; was just hoping someone can possibly save me some time with a quick 101.
For reference - I encountered it in MS cash flow calculations. It starts in LedgerCoverage and ends everywhere.
Thanks for your attention.
The class is used more like an extension to handle containers, when different methods are called, it's initializing containers, then inserting data etc. i guess you have to look at one particular instance and see how it's getting used. Most of the times it's used in RU localization classes. Even if you see in LedgerCoverage class, it's doing same function, initializing container, pushing data, pulling data from container etc. Hope this helps.
Hi Pete ,
