I need to migrate security role the Dynamics 2009 a Dynamics 365 FO
You need to reimplement it in D365FO. There's no tool for migration.
Agree with Nikolas. There are so many new securable objects available in D365FO that you cannot simply migrate what you used in AX2009. Regards, Ludwig
The way security works in Ax 2009 and D365 for finance /supply chain is different, so you have to re implement it . As Nikolaos mentioned there is no tool for migration.
For AX2012, there is a security upgrade advisor tool. docs.microsoft.com/.../security-upgrade-advisor-tool-user-guide
It gave some insights, but not a full solution. I would also suggest like anyone above to re-implement it correctly on Dynamics 365.
There is no upgrade or migrate path for security. It has to created manually again in D365. Also, 2009 has user groups and D365 has security roles
