I was wondering if anybody could shed some light on a issue that we are experiencing where the Bank Statement passes validation, even though you receive a notification that the opening balance does not equal the closing balance of the previous statement.
I would have assumed that this would error and would not validate the bank statement.
Is there a parameter that can be applied to resolve this or is there a reason why it works like this.
The notification information is not an error or warning, and there is no parameter to control that if the opening balance is different from the previous ending balance.
You need to custom it or create an idea for Microsoft: experience.dynamics.com/.../
Currently no such functionality is available in which the system will prohibit the statement posting for Bank even the balances does not reconcile. There is no such parameter available. What you can do is achieve this by development or customization in current versions.
Please mark YES against the answer if it was helpful. Thanks
