We recently moved to D365 F&O from AX 2012. We have an item that needs to exempt from GST. In AX, we just leave the Item GST Group as blank, but for the new D365 it can't be blank. What can we do to be able to exempt the item from GST?

Hi C Wee,
On the inventory and warehouse management parameters, there is a setting to determine if the Item GST group should be mandatory or not. Possibly this option is enabled in Dynamics 365, but disabled in AX2012.
You can also create an item GST group called 'Exempt' and don't do additional setup to link it with a GST group.
