I have download 10.0.6 PU 30 VM and running it locally. I have made 12 cores and 40. I GB available for the box. As the time goes on D365 starts running slower and slower. Any idea what might be going on? There is nothing else running on the server. I am running this VM on datacenter 2012. I installed outlook on VM and checked SQL server, everything runs fine. It is just the D365 application that runs slow.
I am thinking of running the application in IIS Express instead of IIS since IIS might be the issue. Any idea how to do that?
Check if you have snapshots turned on for the disk. The I/O overhead will kill the performance. Switching between IIS/IISExpress is not going to make a difference.
Where do I find this setting? I am running windows server 2012 data center edition
