I set up the auto build pipeline and exclude the Test Package following the article below:
It used to work, but from today's build, this is not working, every build today includes the Test Package even though the "PackagingExclusions" was not changed at all.
which D365FO version and pipeline version are you on?
D365FO is 10.0.4 and PU28. But I don't know pipeline version, in the description, it is called "Dynamics AX 7.0 Build Definition".
Do you still have the original packaging step or did you (or someone on your team) manually start using the new one from the AZDO tasks in the marketplace? Because those require a different filter to be setup.
We still used the original packaging step (created during deploying the build server). And we did install the AZDO market place for the auto release pipeline.
What we changed yesterday was to update the Model Version.
Now I got it, this variable only exclude the packages from generation, not compiling. Actually the step failed at compiling.
