I'm wondering, now that AX has been evolved so far, regarding table SRSAnalysisEnums, is there any easier and more practical way to updates or populate it ?
In the BIHelper class, the populateSRSAnalysisEnums method has been defined.
Thanks, Is there a way outside Visual Studio involved ?
It is quite strange while only to populate a table, we need developers to do it. No offense, I used to be a developer but even so, is there any easier way, probably Flow or something, something more advance, automate, practical, easy, etc..
Hi Blue Wang,
While browsing, I found one interesting method (and easier), so it run from url, the website is below:
However I try to use it for the BI class, it seems it does not recognize, probably I type it wrongly, have u try ?
Here is what I tried:
the error is :
The specified class 'BIHelper::PopulateSRSAnalysisEnums()' does not exist.
The link you shared for running a class Through url are useful to run a class with Main method . For example runnable class. So you can write your own runnable class which add element to this enum or do COC and wrap the actual method to add your element ?
Why you want to add elements to this enum ?
No I don't want to add element. I just want to re-populate table SRSAnalysisEnums.
If you are sure above method shared by blue is going to work for you , write a simple runnable class and call that static method in it. Then you should be able to run it from URL as described in the above post shared by you.
Alright then, I created a runnable class, then in Main method what should I write ?
Sorry, I never do Visual Studio before.
Actually if I create this runnable class, might as well just run it from here, right? But I'll take the positive thinking, it might be useful for future.
In the main method write below statement , build that class and run it using URL as mentioned in the blog links you shared.
Have you tried Sukrut's suggestion？
