Since update from 10.0.4 to 10.0.8 , 4 day ago when creating Purchase requisition the external catalog doesn't open.
I am receiving error message below, eventhu, no change on the setup was made and only users with system admin role can open external catalog, all other roles (Tried them all) not able to access external CAT.
Can not navigate to the external catalog site. Contact system administrator for details. Function CatCXMLPunchoutHandler.discardPunchoutRequest has been incorrectly called. Access denied to field PunchoutId (PunchoutId) in table CatCXMLPunchoutSession (CatCXMLPunchoutSession).
What exact roles does these users have? Did you create own roles? All standard roles are not working?
To solve the issue, you can add table and field permissions on the role or a privilege to grant access. You can add this from the security configuration form. The table and field names are mentioned in the error.
It can be caused by a secuity related property on the field in this update.
Thank you for the reply.
i have already tried to add the table with grant permission and still same error.
standard role and customized role doesnt solve it.
only with System admin, the URL wih external catalog works.
looks like Punchut request for everyone except system admin is denied.
while on the security role, it shows that it is granted
Next to the table, did you also add the field (PunchoutId) as sub detail on the table with grant permissions?
I was now able to check the field in the AOT. As the AOS Authorization is set to 'yes', it requires to have the field itself also setup with grant permissions.
True , i have figured that out on Friday and it works.
but surprisingly that i have to add the tables and fields ,while the duty and privileges involved where already in,,
it was working fine in previous version, but seems bugged in 10.0.8
In version 10.0.8, the property for this field might have been changed. In that case, the table permissions framework is activated which requires additional security settings. You can read more on the next page: docs.microsoft.com/.../table-permissions-framework-reference
