I'm working on D365FO. I did create a report added a query to dataset that is based on a tmp table. Now when I try to generate the report I get just the precisiondesign. No data is shown in it. How can I fix this ? I think this is problem is somewhere outside of my code because I tried to generate a already created report and had the same problem.
class ProductionStatusDP extends SrsReportDataProviderBase
public void processReport()
ProductionStatusContract contract = this.parmDataContract() as
boolean DateBetween = false;
if(contract.parmToDate() && contract.parmFromDate())
ToDate = contract.parmToDate();
FromDate = contract.parmFromDate();
DateBetween = true;
while select prodtable where prodtable.CollectRefLevel == 0
join inventdim where prodtable.InventDimId == inventdim.inventDimId
join salesline where prodtable.InventRefType == salesline.InventRefType
&& prodtable.InventRefId == salesline.SalesId
&& prodtable.InventRefTransId == salesline.InventTransId
&& prodtable.InventRefType == inventreftype::Sales
ProductionStatusTmp.AcceptedDate = prodtable.CreatedDateTime;
ProductionStatusTmp.ProdWeek = wkOfYr(prodtable.CreatedDateTime) + year(prodtable.CreatedDateTime);
ProductionStatusTmp.ExternalNum = salesline.ExternalItemId;
ProductionStatusTmp.Progress = ((prodtable.qtycalc * 100) / prodtable.QtySched);
ProductionStatusTmp.Quantity = prodtable.QtyCalc;
ProductionStatusTmp.AcceptedBy = prodtable.CreatedBy;
ProductionStatusTmp.ProdItemId = InventDim.InventLocationId;
ProductionStatusTmp.Ware = prodtable.Name;
ProductionStatusTmp.ProductionStatus = prodtable.ProdStatus;
ProductionStatusTmp.Produced = prodtable.QtySched;
public ProductionStatusTmp getProductionStatusTmp()
what do you mean by already created report is it another custom reports that was working or you mean the standard reports is not show data too
is this happen with all reports or just custom reports only?
Please debug the RDP class to see whether the temporary table is filled.
And sometimes it can be caused by cache, please try to do a full build, DB sync and restart the Reporting services.
Hope this helps.
System reports are working. Not all custom reports are working.
Did rebuild my packages, DB synced, RS restarted. Still I can't see any data.
Tried to debug it trying to add some static daata and I get "break always (currently 0)".
Im not to good at it so any help would be nice.
use debug to check if data is being fetched?
if yes, then deploy all reports again and suggest
Looks like I have again a problem with report extensions. I can't add or edit datasets in reports.
I got this msg "wcf configuration file was not found. dynamics ax ssrs extension may not be installed".
No idea how to fix it. I just created 3 days ago a new VM and I could add a dataset. Now I cant edit or add anything there so thats propably why I don't get any data in it..
can you please provide screenshot from the error and check the Event viewer > Applications and service logs > Microsoft > Dynamics > AX-SSRS
all nods for SSRS to see if there is more information related to the error
