I have a custom tabel with field DeliveryPostalAddressRecId
I created a query with this custom table outer join logisticspostalAddress based on recId
And used this query in a report, where i get the value of logisticsPostalAddress.Address using queryRun
What i noticed is that records with addresses that are not valid doesn't appear in the report, however of the validTo field in logisticsPostalAddress is greater than today's date... Then the address field gets populated.
How can this happen, if i didn't put a range in my query?
Hi D365FO user,
This is because of the Date effective settings on the LogisticsPostalAddress table. You can learn more here: docs.microsoft.com/.../date-effectivity
You can use some x++ statements to initiate the query to have a larger date range instead of only valid today:
FromDateTime fromDate = DataTimeUtil::minValue();
ToDateTime toDate = DataTimeUtil::maxValue();
query = new query(queryStr(LogisticsPostalAddressQuery));
queryRun = new QueryRun(query);
Not sure how this can be done for query based SSRS reports. I don't have that experience myself.
