I have a task that need assign to a crew. Crew have 5 members with same role.
In PSA, how to create team member for this task and estimate cost for this case?
This is pretty simple.
Let me assume that it is one task with X number of hours and it is already in WBS (Work Break Down Structure) and you have assigned a Role to that task.
Post that you can click on Generate Team Member button on the top of WBS.
Once done please go to Project Service--> Project Team Members as shown below
You see a Generic Resource with the Role assigned with Resource Requirement of 100 hours.
Select that record and on the grid header click on Hard Book or Soft Book. That will open the schedule board and you can filter the required kind of resource and make complete or partial allocation out of 100 hours.
so for the pending hours you can continue booking one by one for your crew.
Hope this helps.

Thanks Kuldeep. I mean, I need to use resource that type is crew. How to use it in PSA v3?
PSA doesn't support crews OOTB. I'll try to find some time in Jan to check how far I can get with them.
Hi Antti, did you ever look into this? We have a requirement from customer to assign project tasks and bookings to Crews (teams of people) instead of having to add each person individually to each task. However, the costs don't get calculated and the booking process seems to be a bit of a nightmare.
I've got the same scenario and think I have got it figured out to get cost and sales estimates
Now go set up your Project by adding the "The A Team" resource to a task and you will then see the estimates come through on the Estimates tab (if your Contracting Unit and Prices Lists all line up)
I haven't got much further in the process and creating bookings for the Crew is throwing errors on the Schedule Board so some more work required there I think...
