Hi PSA Experts,
My client wants to move on to Dynamics 365 for PSA. Existing projects started previous year and are still running on should be uploaded to the CRM. The projects have actual hours and actual cost that must be uploaded to see the progress. The user does not have a proper timesheet mechanism as in to upload the actual hours or total cost. Also, these fields are locked in CRM and data cannot be imported into them either. Can anyone advise what to do now? or is there anyway to enter actual cost and hours directly without going through time and expense entries?
Journals are your friend in this case. You should use those when manually creating or editing financial transactions in PSA.
1. Creating a new Journal Line for a Journal. I made both Billed Sales and Unbilled Sales ones.
2. Journal Lines are created and the Journal is then Confirmed.
3. Journal Lines are formed.
4. Actuals are created from a Confirmed Journal.
Thankyou Antti Pajunen, it works like a charm
