I'm in the process of setting up PSA. I'm going through the motions and have difficulties picking up approved timesheet against a project in the project contract lines. It allows me to manually add a line but the unbilled-sales actuals are not being picked up agains the contract.
Can anyone help? The only things we are doing diff is that we don't have cost defined.
Same issue for me.... I opened a support case. I will come back, if I got a solution from them.

Hi Jawetha Nadaraja. I'm not entirely certain if I'm understanding your situation correctly, but Unbilled Sales Actuals are formed when a Time Entry is approved. The prerequisite for UB Sales Actuals is an Order with a T&M Order Line and a Project associated to that line.
UB Sales Actuals are not formed when details to Order Lines / Project Contract Line Details are added.
Yes that is correct. So I have a project and a contract associated to it. I have a time and order line against the contract. I have resources putting time against this project and it has been approved. However, these lines are not showing up in the project contract lines. I am able to write in a manual line but it doesn't bring up approved time entry lines.
I'm not use if it is a set up issue or if there is something missing?
The process ideally followed by project companies is to record time on a project and then approve it. This creates cost and unbilled sales. The unbilled sales are then invoiced to the customer. Invoice generation in PSA is triggered automatically by a recurring or it can triggered manually on demand. Please see these topics to understand PSA invoicing
I'm marking Rupa's answer as verified and also adding that approved Time Entries are not even supposed to show up on Project Contract Lines. The Project Contract Lines as well as their details (Project Contact Line Details) are a contracted sum of your project's scope. Think of it as a signed paper: that is what the scope of your contract is. Changes to it are usually change requests.
