I need your inputs on How to implement CR (Change Request) functionality in PSA. Suppose there is a project currently going on and customer has requested a new requirement which was not a part of previous project planning. How can we implement CR(change request) in PSA.
If it is a T&M Project then add a Task in the Schedule and get the time entry done and then invoice it.
Get the contract revised by adding an addiitonal contract line to add this value so that the updated amount comes in to contract.
But, for this you will have to change the contract to Draft state first and then make the change. then reconfirm it.
In the past, I've created a Change Request entity that had details that would be included in a project task. In addition, fields to determine impact to project etc. I then had a Flow to create an approval process. Once approved by all, then you can either automate or manually create additional contract lines and update the project plan/project tasks.

As suggested by you to create Contract Line for CR. Do I need to create a Project Based Contract Lines or Product Based Contract Line. If its Project Based Contract Lines it is not allowing to associate the existing project. Please advice on this.
Good question Mohit!
The answer is:
you need to edit the existing contract to add a line in the Contract line details, so that the contract amount gets updated and the same project can be used.
Then you can add a task on the project and you can get the time entry and approvals done for the same.
