As you know, if I select a project template while creating the Project, the Project tasks etc will be copied into the new project.
However, I have another project template with project tasks which I intend to add to an existing project.
Is there a way to do it out of the box? I have tried using a simple plugin to copy fields, but when I view it in the Schedule Tab, the tasks are not loaded (I am assuming the format of the new tasks are not correct).
How do I make this happen?
OOTB there's reaaly no way to do this but you should be able to use a plugin, a workflow or Flow to do this by creating new Project Tasks. The WBS ID has to be correct so depending on your existing tasks, this might be tricky: as your existing task structure changes, so do the WBS IDs. The "new" tasks would need to be a logical continuation of your existing tasks, unless you want to complete reshuffle the tasks.
