Hello,I added a lookup field to the project Task Entity called task type. I would like to replace the Name column with the Task type in the project schedule grid.
How to achieve this?Thank you.

As far as I know you cannot replace that column. You can add columns to the view, but not remove. The Name is required, especially since you can integrate it with MS Project. As such, I would strongly recommend you use the Additional Columns view to ADD the field you want to supplement, but Name is required.
My requirement is to replace this field with a lookup one.
I will fill the name field with the task type name.
You can add additional column for task Type but cannot be replaced with the name column which is OOB
You can try this but I am not sure if it is a feature or a bug.
