Hello, Im trying to figure out how to use PSA and Field Service Module together, is this possible?
I though maybe I could use PSA, create some task and off a task have a work order?
does this usage make sense?
Basically would like planning module(PSA) and then a execution module (FS). As the work orders would not be generated spontaneously i.e. telephone calls, emails or incidents, or sales, or opportunities.
The work orders would be created internally. In a Government/inspection type business model.
For this quarter we must inspect site a, b, and c., for next quarter, site d,e, and f.
and every inspection must have an inspector assigned to it.
I think that it is possible.

Marking Lennon's answer as verified. It's possible to run both PSA and FS in the same environment. I would also examine the exact use case in more detail and also look at other available tools as well. PSA might be a bit heavy if you only manage tasks.
Thanks for the help! That would be much appreciated it. Yeah you maybe right about it being a "bit heavy" I do like the ability to assign generic resource or non generic resource to a task. As this is part of the planning process/ business requirements. But as im thinking could use the characteristic entity in FS on the work order to pretty much do the same and would be simpler I guess instead of having two apps working together.
