On the D365 Retail trial version, When click activating device following error appear:
<"Channel has not been published.">
Need details steps please to fix this issue on the trial version of Retail
Firstly follow below blog and complete all the steps which mentioned in step 2

but i checked the steps on the 2 blogs but they are not same on the cloud trial environment
On Retail trial there is no initialize shared parameter
On Finance and Operations Trial there is no Number sequence
On Retail trial there is no button to download device configuration
On LCS assess library trial cloud there is no option to import service
Can u help me please
Just need to activate the POS device on the trial cloud environment and get the POS cloud link

I haven't used the trial version but here are two things to try:
1. Under "Channel categories and product attributes" select the channel that the device that you're trying to activate is in, and click the Publish Channel Updates in the ribbon menu at the top.
2. In the distribution schedule, run jobs 1070 (channel updates) and 1090 (registers) to sync those configurations with the retail HQ. Or use the shotgun approach and run the 9999 (all jobs).
-> Retail Trail on the "Channel categories and product attributes" the device not exist
and internal organization is not editable and can't be initialized.

Please need your support to just activate the POS device cloud on the Retail trial enviroment

After running the Reprovisioning Tool on any cloud host machine really can delete the data in the table RetailSelfServicePackageInfo.
But, these data will be recovered automatically through this way (tested on one of my machine, It is work).
Try to create a new device, and open the Package name dropdown list even it is empty, please make sure set Application type as Retail Modern POS.
You need wait for several minutes, maybe more than 10 min (for me).
If it is still empty, please try to click the download button
