I want to call manager override functionality on click of a button on a custom dialog.
I tried finding requests at POS but I cannot find any.
Can you guys suggest. Thanks in advance.
Not sure what exactly you are trying to achieve, can you describe your business goal? Manager override, a dialog asking for manager's credentials, is automatically displayed when a currently signed in user doesn't have permissions to execute the requested operation. Permissions are setup in AX UI Workers.
Thanks for the response, I have acheieved it by little tweak.
Scenario was let's say I there are few products that cashier cannot sell in sales order. In order to proceed, cashier needs manager permissions. I want to invoke those permissions from my custom buttion on a custom dialog dialog.
For that you would need to go (in AX) to POS Permissions and set "Allow Create Order" to False.
