Dear Friends,I have 3 issues of AX 2012 Retail /D365 Retail:1/ I have created 10 store. I want to the system synchronization some stores (not all stores). Can the system support?.
2/ I want to setup timeline synchronization between store and head-quarter: a. incremental synchronize: 9 days b. full synchronize: 10 days. How will I setup? 3/ I want to setup vendor consignment process to it.
Data to store can be synchronized in three ways.
1- Channel Database - From channel database screen you can push the data to individual stores. Channel database supports only "Full Data Sync" which will push only the full data only, not incremental. (Mainly used when you are opening new store and you are pushing the data for the first time or when some information is missing in the store database even though incremental data was pushed and applied in the store)
2. Channel Database Group - Pushing data from channel database also works in the same way. However, it will push full data to all the channel database that is part of the channel database group.
3. Distribution Schedule - This option is used to push incremental data to a group of stores. Which means this jobs will track changes that took place on a table or group of tables between the last time you ran the job and current time you are running it. Please note that the change track information is tracked at the channel database group level not individual stores.
Coming to your last question. Yes, you can schedule it. Create a batch job for pushing the incremental data from Distribution Scheduler on a daily basis and set the recurrence to daily once say 3 AM in the morning. Schedule a full sync from channel database group option to run at 1 AM and set the recurrence every 10 days.
