Hi , We are moving from dynamics ax 2012 to dynamics 365 cloud, in 2012 we are using lot of sql queries for financial reporting and for other things for our ease, how can we do the same in 365 cloud based solution,is there any way that we have access on SQL Server or some to perform our desired reportings.
You will not be able to access the AxDB (Production application database) once you move to D365FO. Management reporter still exists in D365FO in the name of financial reports under GL, if that's what your major concern is.
Also there are many ways to extract the information you want for reporting. you can read and understand more here : docs.microsoft.com/.../information-access-reporting
Also have a quick read of this page where there are some planned features in Reporting docs.microsoft.com/.../planned-features
