Would like to ask if how the computation works for Dynamics365? we are a partner and one of our customer do have 1472 users and want to license them with full users
is this the correct computation?
$210/user/month x 1472 user count = $309,120/user/month
should we multiply the 309k to 12months since we have to bill them yearly? isn't this to much? how billing works for D365?
Make sure that no user can use the team member license (which is much cheaper); it's not usually the case. Then consider if you can't use device licenses for some users, which add-ons the customer will need and so on. How billing works depends on how the customer buy licenses (EA, CSP).
There used to be a large transition discount, but unfortunately it was only until 1st November 2016. But check if you can't get some other discount.
