I need to show/hide some fields based on a quick view form. I need to do this when the form loads. But the quick view form is not available(not yet loaded). Is there a way to achieve this?
But that is not the correct place to run your logic from as it's possible that a number of different quick create forms may be accessible from the entity you are currently in. For instance on an account form you can open up the case, opportunity or contact quick create forms.
As I stated in my previous post you need to move your logic into a pageload function on the appropriate quick create form(s) and if needed query the parent record for any values that determine which fields should be displayed
I added a timeout in my function as suggested here: docs.microsoft.com/.../isloaded
That solved it.
Thank you for your suggestions.
