We have a editable sub-grid in a Quick Create form. Upon opening of the Quick Create form, the Editable sub-grid does not load fully and shows only first row. This is an issue started only after upgrade to V9.0 from V8.2.
We are on dynamics Online version. Did anyone else run into this issue and have any suggestions.
Something doesn't seem right in your question. You cannot place a subgrid in quick create form. Can you share a screenshot please?
I dont think you can place a subgrid on quick create form. Are you referring to normal form? if yes, try below suggestions
1. Clear Cache
2. Try in different browsers
if above suggestions didnt work, contact Microsoft.
It is not from a Quick Create form. It is a normal form that gets opened from a regular Grid on another Main form while creating a new record from this Sub-grid. That newly opened form has the Sub-grid.
Until the record is created, subgrid won't be enabled and thus will not show you any record. This is because if the record is not created, there would be no record to link the records. So this behaviour is expected.
Hope this helps.
It was all working fine before upgrading our Dynamics to V9.0 from V8.2
Microsoft confirmed its an issue post upgrade to V9.0 and they are going to deploy a fix in next couple days in their upcoming update.
As a interim workaround, they suggested to Change ‘Group By Columns’, ‘Allow filtering’ to Disable and ‘Hide Nested grid column’ to hide column header for that editable grid on the form.
