This week the contacts sub-grid stopped displaying a list of contacts associated with an account. There's a counter field that shows how many contacts are on the account so we can see there are contacts. When we click through to see the records the contacts are all there. Any idea why the sub-grid isn't displaying them in the account form like it has done until at least yesterday? There's been no coding done of any kind.
Is this happening for all accounts or any particular?
Check the view set for that subgrid, is it still intact? If you have any conditions in view - records might have falling outside the filter radar.
It's happening on all accounts.
Yes, the view is still intact. Records: Only related Records, Entity: Contacts (Company Name), Default View: Active Contacts.
Figured it out. This one was user error. A filter had been applied and saved at some point to the view the sub-grid was using. Fixed the view, published customizations, reloaded the page and the contacts came back.
I told you :)
You're right! I marked your response as the answer.
