I activated opt-in for April 2019. I followed the steps in below link, and it says Activated for me
How can I verify that the preview is installed in my environment? The version number is not changed, and I cant see any UI changes.
I guess you're familiar with the following post:
preview april 2019 updates#what features and experiences are available in the april 2019 update
By activating the April 2019 updates opt-in, you will get changed user experience updates only. Below is the list of those features:
Updates are available now. See Updates in sitemap and command bar.
Updates for the Marketing app are available now. See Activate and use Marketing app preview features.
Updates will come later. Check back for information.
So it depend on the app you're working with, expecting the updates for.
Just about the only change you will see at the moment is that the Unified Interface will have the refreshed look and feel with the larger light grey left hand menu that now has words as well as icons.
The Sales App changes are due to arrive later and the Marketing changes are only relevant if you are using the marketing module.
So as a preview it is rather underwhelming as most things are still due to arrive later....
Thanks Ben! I would really appriciate if you Cab send a print screen. Thanks again:)
You can see the screen shots in the link I've provided:
See Updates in sitemap and command bar.
Thanks! But it says that is for "UI updates in October"...
It was always intended to be rolled out as part of April's update and was only announced as in preview last October.
I am experiencing the same behavior as above... the custom module that we have created doesn't show any changes at all!!
