I am trying to display all products associated with a specific account. I'm thinking I should add via Sub-Grid, but I am not sure which entity to use. Any ideas?
There are two ways to display the Products associated with Account.
Please refer to this blog:
Select Entity as Product.
2. Quick view form
First we need to create a lookup field for the Account entity, Target Record Type is Product.
Thanks Lu! Can you send instructions on how to create a look up field for account entity for a target record type is product. In addition, I have created and closed an opportunity with products and those products are not showing up on the account. Any ideas why?
Here are the steps to create a lookup field:
1. Go to Settings > Customizations on the navigation bar and select Customize the System.
2. Next navigate to the Account entity. Click the Fields node, and create a new field.
3. Once you click new, the following pop up window will appear. Indicate a display name and change the data type to Lookup and select the Product entity. Once that is done, click save and close.
Also, in the Account's form editor, click the Navigation button, then double-click Product in the list of entity relationships on the right to add it to the list on the left.
