I have noticed that in the New UI of D365, i am no longer able to add a product bundle to a quote. When I try to add a product to a quote, the lookup to Existing product does not show the bundles in the lookup. Does anyone know how to overcome this? How can i get bundles appearing in the lookup?
Additionally, another function i've noticed is no longer there is the ability to select multiple products to add to a quote. Eg. previously in the old UI you can click the lookup for existing products and then click 'Lookup more products' and then this will allow you to select multiple products from the price list. This is no longer possible in the new UI.
Any assistance would be great! thanks in advance.
1. I tested it in my environment and didn't encounter this problem, I was able to successfully add the product bundle in the quote.
So make sure you have published the product bundle.
You could check your steps by referring to this blog:
product bundles with variable product quantities
2. Yes, the unified interface does not support adding multiple products in the lookup view.
So we could only click Add New Quote Line to add one product at a time.
Thanks for responding. That is really odd that you are able to do this. I have tried and confirm that the product bundle is Active and published. I still cannot view the bundle from the lookup. Any other ideas? - I may have to log this with Microsoft Support.
Also - thanks for confirming that the new UI does not allow multi select on the products. Though that function would be quite useful to bring back!
If you want to add an existing product to the quote line item, this product needs to be used in the product catalog.
In other words, in addition to the fields under the PRODUCT DETAILS tab must be set, the PRICE LIST ITEMS under the ADDITIONAL DETAILS tab should also be set. As the picture shows:
The price lists of the product must be the same as the price lists of quote.
Also, please clear your browser cache or change another brower.
If the above suggestions are invalid, I recommend that you raise a Microsoft support ticket.
Hi Lu, This instance is new with no customisation on it. Cleared cache, tried different browsers but no luck. In regards to the set up of the product, that is all fine and i'm aware what needs to be done there. - I think this is a big on the instance and i'll log a support call for this with MS. However, thank you so much :)
DId you created pricelist and published the Product(Bundle) ?
