We have a website and when someone adds their contact data it feeds through to Dynamics and if the account name matches with an account in Dynamics then that contact is automatically added to that account. The problem is that contacts will add the account name that may be slightly different to what we have in Dynamics and therefore a new account is added. E.g a contact may add RBS but the Dynamics account will be Royal Bank of Scotland. Therefore a new account is added for RBS. We cannot amend the website in any way but is there a way that we can set up some sort of process etc. to stop this happening. Please not that Duplicate Detection Rules do not work as the website overrides these. Thanks
Ideally there should be unique filed to identify duplicated records. for example we cannot write code or logic to identify RBS is Royal Bank of Scotland.
is there any field or combination of field which help to identify duplicated records? like for a contact combination of email and phone number can be used to identify duplicated records, so even if the name is different it can be identified. You can use this duplication logic in your website integration its-self or a custom plugin can be used.
Hope this helps,

We don't have any other identifier that goes with the Account Name so we cannot set up a process for this.
Yes, in such cases we need manual inspection. because in code we need to apply some logic to identify the records.
