When I set a product to status "Retired", the status reason is automatically set to "New Product"
Is that possible to change this to "Deleted" please ?
In D365, by default, if a product's status is "Retired", its status reason is also "Retired".
So your product should be customized.
If you want to modify the status reason to "Deleted", follow these steps:
1. Go to Settings > Customizations > Customize the System, then Entity > Product > Field. Edit Status Reason field.
2. Select Status as Retired, then there should be New Product in the Status Reason list, and Default Value is also New Product.
Click Add button and then enter Deleted into Lable. Then select Default Value as Deleted.
3. If you want to delete "New Product" Status Reason, click "New Product" and then click the Delete button. Save.
This is done.
