I could not download my rdl on button onclick as Pdf.
Previous version same scenario the code is working, now i use the same code in latest version its show error in this line "window.open(newPth, "_self");"
error is "Resource requests whose URLs contained both removed whitespace (`\n`, `\r`, `\t`) characters and less-than characters (`<`) are blocked. Please remove newlines and encode less-than characters from places like element attribute values in order to load these resources. See www.chromestatus.com/.../5735596811091968 for more details."
how to fix this this issue ? Please guide me to do.
It seems that there are newline characters in your final newPth parameter.
You could replace these characters with newPth.replace(/\n|\r/g, ""),
then verify whether final URL is valid to download report PDF file.
For me, I followed with this tutorial:
however, my retrieved report session response like below, it doesn't look like valid sessionID and controlID parameter.
my final converted newPth:
https://org.crm.dynamics.com/Reserved.ReportViewerWebControl.axd?ReportSession=L><html><head><M&Culture=1033&CultureOverrides=True&UICulture=1033&UICultureOverrides=True&ReportStack=1&ControlID= HTML><html><head><META &OpType=Export&FileName=public&ContentDisposition=OnlyHtmlInline&Format=PDF
Could you share me your previous working code and then I could go further to investigate your issue.
After deleting old report and created new report now its working.
