I am new to dynamics and working my way through an online course.
I am getting ahead of myself ... and creating a project (a new solution) and want to segment say 600 of 5,000 accounts, such that only those customers are viewed in the solution.
What is the best approach for this?
Any guidance would be appreciated.
You can easily segment the 600 account records with a view. This article explains the process of creating and editing views.
Hi and welcome to CRM world,
First of all, can you provide a little more context what exactly you are trying to do, a view to filter accounts based on certain criteria, or something else.
You cannot import contacts into a solution (i'm not sure if you are aware of this).
Maybe more information will help to guide you to the right direction.
Thanks for your reply. The above answer pointed me in the right direction where I found you can add a lookup field and create a view of your accounts to only apply to that specific lookup. That is what I was after.
So for example, Team A can only see and relate accounts that are relevant to Team A.
Thanks for you help.
