We are evaluating Sales Hub in MS Dynamics 365 for integration. Can anyone suggest what is the best way to integrate Sales Hub in Cloud so that we get complete coverage?
Moreover, will the same set of APIs will work for on-premises version?
As I know, Dynamics 365 web api is a powerful function that allows usres to do different actions like CRUD data, trigger workflows, listen and trigger BPF and so on.
So When you integrate sales hub, what functions do you want to implement using web API?
We could call web api through web client-side(JS) and background(C#).
1.In web client-side, you could use "Xrm.WebApi" to call api quickly and easily.
The same api functions could also be used in on-premise.
2.In background with C#
When you use the Web API for on-premise deployments, you must include the user's network credentials.
Hope it helps.
