I have created a multi-steam Interactive dashboard for appointments with charts and steams. On the appointment form we have 4 fields with different brands that the salesperson should tick/or not tick in if the appointment is connected to the brand or not.
In the dashboard I have created a chart with 4 legend entities (one for each brand) and in horizontal (category) i have "Status". The goal is to be able to see completed appointments for each brand but right now the bars in the chart displays the same numbers (wrong). It seems like it counts the lines in the view that the chart is based on, no matter if the checkbox on appointments are ticked or not (Yes/No).
Can someone help me with this?
"On the appointment form we have 4 fields with different brands that the salesperson should tick/or not tick in if the appointment is connected to the brand or not. "
Could you provide screenshots of these four fields? Are these four fields actually an option set field for four options?
Here you can see the appointment form. I have hidden the names because I can't share them. but as you can see there are 4 checkboxes, and each one of theese are a field, so you can tick in as many as you want.
Thank you for your help!
Can you post a screen shot of your view that you use to feed this chart? checkboxes can be tricky when you check their value. I assume you are checking if the value contains or doesn't contain data in the view? You may need to switch to Not Equal "NO" instead.
You just need to change Count:All to Count:Non-empty, then remove Secondary Y-Axis.
As shown below, in the chart editor, for Legend Entries ( Series ), select them all as ‘Count:Non-empty’.
Save and close, then we can see that it has two Y axes. So we have to remove the secondary Y axis.
Please refer to this blog to know how to remove the secondary Y-axis:
We need to export this chart, delete YAxisType="Secondary" in the xml file, and import it into D365.
(If the exported chart file is of type 'file', then you need to manually add the '.xml' suffix to its file name to make it an xml type.)
This is done.
I changed the type of the field of the "brands" to "option set" instead and just added one alternative "yes" and set the default value to "no value". Then its working, unfortunately I can't make it work with checkboxes and your description :(
