I am creating a PCF control for table grids(Subgrid), I need to set the colour based on a lookup field's related entity.
For example, in the opportunity view, we have an account column (account entity lookup) and contact column ( contact entity lookup).
I can get the data type of the column, is there a way to get the related entity name if the column is a lookup field.
You won't be able to get this from the Column properties, as this information is for the overall grid, and not at the record level. Instead you'll need to get this information from the EntityRecord, but it doesn't look like the current API will give you this, as getValue only returns a string, though it's worth checking if this string does include the related entity name
