In the 2019 Release Wave 2 release notes, there's the functionality that will allow customization to the Price List Item entity:
Has anyone been able to test this in Preview? Or seen in demo'd? Or possibly have their instance updated with this functionality?
You need to enable this feature from system setting in order to work. I have enabled/ Tested/ verified this in Sandbox/ Production environment.
Hope this helps.
Thanks for your response.
However, this is not the feature/setting I'm referring to. I'm aware of this setting and have tested it as well.
If you look at the highlighted section of the release notes, it refers to the ability to customize the Price List Item entity. So my expectation/assumption is that we'll be able to add custom fields to the Price List Item entity.
This will be a great feature, as currently we're very limited to how we can add additional information to a Price List Item.
Unfortunately, we still can't add custom fields to the Price List Item entity.
Thanks for the response Lu.
Hoping to see this feature released soon - will make a massive difference in how the Product Catalogue & Pricing mechanism functions.
