One of our customer is facing issues in syncing up the contacts from CRM using server side syncup. He has a rule created to sycnup contacts from CRM to Outlook.
1. Earlier, new contacts/existing contacts syncup was happening within 15 minutes. But in recent days syncup is taking too long time. Some times it takes 2 or 3 days. Is there any specific reason for this?
2. If he deactivates the contact in CRM which is already synced with outlook, it still exists in outlook. Is it the expected behavior?
We are using D365 8.2 on-premise version.
Thanks in Advance!
I would recommed you raise a support ticket.
If this is the case with only one user, please ask him to check if it's not outlook issue?
Is Outlook updated with latest version?
No, its not expected behaviour, it should update the status but looks the CRM outlook plugin is not working properly. Please also check with end user if the process is fast on LAN in comparision to WiFi.
Update the outlook, if not resolved. Open a ticket with Microsoft would be faster to resolve your issue.
Thanks for the suggestions.
When contact is deactivated in CRM, Can you please tell me how it is indicated in the outlook. I don't see any property with respect to status in outlook contacts.
