I have a situation where I need to upload users (different ones for each opportunity) to be Access Team Members for the opportunities. Thousands of opportunities, 1 Access Team template, different users added to each opportunity.
Anyone know how to do this? I can't seem to find a data import template that makes sense.
Here are several ways you can go:
1. PowerAutomate (Former Flow). Create a table with pairs opportunityid, systemuserid somewhere Power Automate can get data from. Read it, and through CDS - Current Environment Connector call message that adds a user to opportunity access team.
2. Customization + Workflow + My Ultimate Workflow Toolkit. Create an entity with 2 lookups - one for opportunity, one for user. Create a workflow that triggers on create of that entity and using Ultimate Workflow Toolkit adds user to opportunity team (I have a special step for that). Using "Standard Import" import data to your custom entity that causes workflows to trigger and do what you need.
3. Write a custom app that will do what you need.
Create using Power Automate, for OpporutnityID and SystemuserID to get data, then, use CDS to add a user in your team.
