I am new to Flow and have gone to the Power automate site and created a flow and tested it to be working, now what do i do? Should i log into D365 and call it some where? Because when i test it works after that if i do the same operation it doesn't work. If i go and click edit and test it again it works. Is there a activate or publish for the flow i created, i am not able to find it all i see is On and Off and i tried both.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Your Flow will execute whenever its trigger occurs. Triggers like When a record is created, When a record is updated, and When a record is deleted initiate your flow within a few minutes of the event occurring. In rare cases, your flow can take up to two hours to trigger. When the trigger occurs, the flow receives a notification, but the flow runs on data that exists at the time the action runs. For example, if your flow triggers when a new record is created, and you update the record twice before the flow runs, your flow runs only once with the latest data.
Read this article for more information on creating a flow by using Dynamics 365 (online).
Please check the environment of your flow and d365 are the same. On power automate site, top right corner.
The flow will trigger on the action of an event for example on creation of a case or an updating a record. Here are the reference articles which describe about the creation of flow and its working
@Adrian Begovich @Prashant Shukla @Akash Jain Thank you so much for your response. I have set the trigger correctly yet its not working. Trigger is the first step in the flow right? is there a way to confirm? My trigger is on Quote update. The environment is correct in both the Flow and actual environment. But the strange part is if i click on Edit, and click Test and then say i will perform the action and then go to the environment to do the trigger action it works well. Please help
Some screenshots of your Flow will help us to understand the issue better.
@Prashant Shukla. Apologies for the delayed response, PFB the screenshot of the flow. I checked again and the problem persists. The problem is if it only works if i click on test and trigger the even in the respective environment. If i dont click on test here and then trigger the event in the environment nothing happens.
Hope its working for you now.

Before i post there, should i do anything in D365 to apply it anywhere or any security roles changes to be done?
did you add your flow in a solution ?
No, should i?
Yes give it a try please ! and check is the flow is ON.
Alright Team, After trying out everything this is what i found as @Adrian Begovich said. It takes a while to run when we are not testing it, some times the next day and thats what i have found. Thank you so much for all your help.
