So the new enhanced email capabilities that allow you to compose a email while still in the context of the record is amazing and works great when you're composing a new email message from a timeline (e.g. from a contact timeline).
The problem is what about replying to a email in the timeline? It appears that to reply to a received email you still need to open the email record and then hit the reply button on the nav bar.
Is this not part of the feature for contextual emails?
Replying email is really not a part of Enhanced Email.
Enhanced Email only works when you click + in Timeline to create an email. Replying email still needs to open the record before replying.
I've logged this as a idea and if people could vote on it that would be great.
Contextual emails is a great feature but it's incomplete without the ability to also reply contextually to a email from a record timeline.
As Lu Hao, correctly pointed out it works with + icon only.
