The ribbon button from the Application ribbon has not been getting removed. The button shows as "LabelText". I installed the managed solution with ribbon button on Application ribbon. The button start appearing on the ribbon after some time as ribbon client metadata was being refreshed in the background. After that, deleted the managed solution from the environment but the button still has been showing as "LabelText".
Tried on various browser and also cleared the cache but the button still present on the ribbon.
This problem is persist only in Unified interface not in the classic web interface.
Try deleting from XML file If possible
Mark Answer as Verified if feasible
Is it possible to share both unified and classic interface screenshot where the button you have added.
Also did you tried to open Application Ribbon using ribbon workbench ? Can you see the button ?
If you can not see then you create a solution and add Application Ribbon and then export solution , find in the XML with label text and remove from there.
There are no references of the button in the customization XML file. Even if we open the Application ribbon through Ribbon Workbench then also the button won't appear in the ribbon. But the button still continues to appear in the Unified interface with label as "LabelText".
You can also replicate at your end. Add a button on the Application Ribbon on Home grid section. Add the application ribbon in the solution, export the solution with the application ribbon as managed and import it into another solution. You will start seeing the button in the ribbon. Delete the managed solution from that environment. You can still see the button.
