I am creating contact record when Lead record is created by using workflow.
now i have a contact lookup field in Lead form so i want to attach contact name into Lookup field which is created along with Lead record .
any one please give me a solution for this.
You want to populate the Contact lookup field in the Lead form with the created contact record, right?
If so, could you provide more information of the problem?
Because according to your description, the contact has nothing to do with the Lead.
HI Thanks for the reply
Please check fallow steps
1. i have a contact lookup field in Lead entity form. while creating lead record i am leaving contact lookup field empty
2. by using workflow i am creating contact record when lead is created.
3. so now i want to add contact name into lookup field automatically when contact created.
I think you should have to use custom activity workflow inside OOB workflow, so that using coding you could get context record id (lead record id) to update lead with contact lookup.
In fact, you can do that in the same workflow, I don't see the issue here.
The workflow is triggered after the creation of a new lead, so you basically have access to it.
All you have to do is choose the Create (contact) from the local values, as shown in the pictures.

I think you need 2 workflow.
1st workflow, when you create new contact, set field Originating Lead = Lead.
2nd workflow, when contact was created, update Lead (Originating Lead) and set value to contact field.
Hello Srinivasareddy Sagili,
Greetings of the day!
In regards to your Concern, you have to create plug-in & register(on post operation)it on creation of contact & check lead from where contact is created & update contact lookup field of that lead.
I hope it helps! Let me know in case of any other concern.
